ISD #2711 is accepting applications for the following positions:
Independent School District #2711 is seeking for an individual to perform the duties of financial officer. The financial officer is responsible for the business office functions of accounts payable, accounts receivable, receipts and general accounting; implement, coordinate and supervise district accounting functions necessary to maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, state and federal statutes and school board policy; supervise the internal auditing of student accounts; assist in the development of the budget and monitor the budget throughout the fiscal year; coordinate the annual audit with outside audit firm and prepare necessary work papers; verify that district financial reports meet state and federal guidelines and compliance requirements; reconcile general ledger on a monthly basis.
The Mesabi East Public Schools has a rich tradition of pride and excellence in academics, athletics and arts. The district educates approximately 950 students and operates with a $12.5 million dollar annual general fund budget.
Minimum qualifications for this position require two years of post-secondary education in the area of business, accounting or other similar related fields. Experience in school finance preferred.
Non-Certified Employment Application
This position is a twelve-month hourly position. The salary is covered under the agreement with the Confidential Clerical Employees. Benefits include health, dental, life, 403B match, sick leave and vacation.

1 position up to 29 hours per week
Licensed Janitor I:
40 hours per week, afternoon shift. Monday – Friday and some weekends. Minimum 1st Class “C” Boiler Engineer License and Certified Pool Operator Licensure will be required, training will be provided.
Up to 20 hours per week, year-round.
